SIAM Movie Night
You are invited to a cozy movie night on Monday, March 21, 19:15 at OvGU G16-H5.
We will stream the documentary Secrets of the Surface: The Mathematical Vision of Maryam Mirzakhani which provides a glimpse into the life and mathematical work of Fields Medalist Maryam Mirzakhani.
Jahrtausendturm entdecken!
Die Technikgeschichte hat einen interessanten und komplizierten Weg. Davon hat sich unser SIAM Chapter Team überzeugt, nachdem wir am 30.06.2022 Jahrtausendturm im Elbauenpark besucht haben!
Das Technische Museum ist ein Holzturm mit 6 Ebenen, wo die wichtigsten wissenschaftlichen und technischen Ereignissen dargestellt sind. Die Ausstellung ist sehr vielfältig und dazu noch interaktiv. Besonders beeindrückend ist natürlich Foucault Pendel, aber auch vieles mehr.
